(Story Start)

“Ayame” you heard your name being called rather loudly by a very recognizable voice. You turned around with the biggest smile ever to see no other than naruto your lifelong crush who you happened to be in love with. Unfortunately he was fully unaware of this so you were stuck in the friend zone. “You wanna go to the Raman shop with me?” he asked with his usual wide smile. You couldn’t help but say yes as your heart melted. "Good" he said as he grabbed you hand and led you to the restaurant making a slight blush creep across your face.

When you finally got there you noticed a very familiar pink haired girl ‘damn’ you thought to yourself “umm naruto I left my money at home…could we umm go back and get it” you said nervously hoping he would buy it so you could stall for time until she left. “Oh don’t worry Ayame its all on me” “oh...uh thanks naruto…” you said rather disappointed but still smiled. When you walked in there were two open seats next to the pink haired girl referred to as Sakura. You looked around and found a booth open “hey Naruto theres some seats over-“you were cut off by naruto practically yelling “HEY SAKURA” she was slightly startled but turned around softly saying “oh hi naruto and Ayame” naruto just smiled as I plainly said “hi” while walking over to the second seat so naruto could sit next to her since you knew that’s what he would want. “You look beautiful as always sakura” I just rolled my eyes. It’s not that I hated sakura I just hated that naruto was so in love with her even though he’s been shot down numerous times because she already had feelings for the villages most admired boy sasuke. But did that stop him...unfortunately no. after we ordered our meals we talked about everything and laughed about anything. And by “we” I mean naruto and sakura. I just sat there eating my slightly cold bowl of noodles thinking ‘why am I even here’ your dark brown hair slid on your shoulder due to the sudden shift you made to get more comfortable in your seat. After failing the attempt to relax you began eating your Raman once again. 'why does it have to be her' you thought to yourself 'if only he knew how much i loved him...but that probably wouldnt make a difference' all the while you hadn’t noticed that your beautiful blue eyes were over flowing with tears. Before any could fall you quickly wiped them away. You sat your chopsticks down and took one last glance at the two before leaving without them even noticing.

While exiting the door you looked up and seen stars which took you by surprise because you hadn’t noticed how late it had gotten. You stood there for a while gazing at the stars thinking 'if wishes really did come true...i could really use one rite now.' just as you were about to cry you felt something on your face. You put you had to your cheek and noticed it was a rain drop so you looked back up and saw that many had begun to fall. 'are you crying for me mom' you lightly smiled to yourself and shook the silly thought out of your head and began your walk home. On your way home you couldn’t help but think about naruto and wishing that you could just fall out of love with him so it would hurt as much as it did when you were with him. Tears began to sting the corners of your eyes when you finally made it to the front door. As you walked inside you layed down on the couch looking up at the ceiling and covered your face as tears streamed down your cheeks. 'I wonder if he cared that i left...i wonder if he's even noticed yet.' You rose up quickly slapping both cheeks with both hands "if i truly loved naruto then i would want him to be happy no matter what...so if he's happy with sakura then im happy to" you said out loud and forced yourself to smile. You got up and decided to go take a shower but before you could make it to your room 'SLAM!' you turned around quickly to see a very exhausted and panting naruto. "naruto?" you said tilting your head slightly to the side wondering what had got him so worked up. After he caught his breath he yelled “ARE YOU CRAZY! I WAS LOOKING ALL OVER FOR YOU DON’T JUST LEAVE WITHOUT TELLING ANYONE!”  You looked at him thinking ‘why wasn’t this the first place he looked’

He ran towards you and hugged you tightly while saying "dont ever do that again, i was worried sick i didnt think i was ever gonna find you...so please never do something like that again" he removed his arms from around you and held onto your shoulders and said " i love you ayame" You froze in complete shock and tears started to run down your cheeks "ayame whats wrong!" he said concerned. After your shower you put on your pajamas which was short black shorts and a white tank top. walking out the door you seen naruto going back inside his room, you were thinking about saying something but he just gave you that devilish grin saying "good night" and shut his door once again. 'Okay...now im starting to get a little scared' you thought to yourself as you walked to your room and shut you door behind you. You've never seen this side of naruto, he was always so loud and hyper...but now he's...he's quiet and mysterious if you didnt know any better you would question if that was really even him. You shook the thought out your head and layed on you bed attempting to get some sleep but you couldnt get naruto's grin out of you head and what he meant when he said 'punish' you shook the memory out of your head on last time and tried to fall asleep again.
