You, shikamaru and everyone else were hanging out to catch
up on some things. Coincidently there was nothing but couples which was okay
since you had someone to be with. Everything was going great until everyone
start talking about how they got together which was also fine; it’s what
happened afterwards that ruined everything. The rule was once your story was
over you had to kiss your partner and that’s what made you ruin everything. You
and shikamaru had never kissed before because you always pushed him away, it’s
not that you didn’t want to it’s just that every time he tried your shyness
would get the best of you. It was now your turn, you tried to make the story
long but shikamaru always cut it short. ‘I can do this’ you thought to yourself
as he leaned in for the kiss, but as if on cue your shyness got the best of you
“no!” you yelled before pushing him away from you. Everyone got silent and just
stared at the both of you until sakura laughed awkwardly saying “don’t be mad
shikamaru she’s just shy is all” everyone laughed and agreed with her but that

getting up and walking away from the group. You got up saying goodbye to
everyone before running up to shikamaru to catch up with him. You and shikamaru
were walking home in silence “shikamaru…im sorry” but he ignored you and

The
walk home was terrible. There were no words exchanged but every step home still

course I do” you said reaching out for him. “I think we should take a break.”
Your heart sank and your mind went blank “what” you said in disbelief “no I
don’t want that” you said louder this time “it not about what you want…I just
need some time to think so I’ll stay at shino’s house until I got this whole
thing figured out” he said turning his back towards you facing the door. “What
do you need to figure out” you asked, there was a long pause “to figure out if
I really want to be in this relationship” and with that he left. Your knees got
weak and you fell to the ground letting your tears fall.
Hours
had passed but you couldn’t get him out of your mind and you couldn’t sleep.
You had just got out of the shower and walked to your room sitting on your bed.
You sat there thinking about everything and the tears began to fall again.
‘It’s all my fault’ you thought to
yourself ‘I never kissed him in the whole three months that we’ve been dating
and I kept embarrassing him.’ You felt the tears fall on your thighs as the

how much I love him’ you thought before throwing on a pair of slippers and
running out the door.
Your chest was burning from how
fast you were running ‘why does shino’s house have to be so far’ you thought
turning a corner. Finally you made it to the door but you heard voices and not
just shika’s or shino’s it sounded like all your friends. You hesitated but
built up the courage to knock on the door. Sakura answered the door “oh, hey
Yui, what are you doing here” “where’s shikamaru” you said not bothering to say
hi back. “He’s over there talking to temari” she said pointing in their
direction. You shoved the door open storming toward them. Shikamaru saw you
coming “yui, what are you doing here, I already told yo-“ you cut him off pulling him down by his collar and kissing him
in front of everyone. The room fell silent but you continued to kiss him. He
was so shocked that he wasn’t kissing back that’s until you brought up the
courage to slip your tongue in then he melted into it and kissed back. “WOO
HOO!” you heard someone in the back yell as everyone cheered and told you to
get a room. You broke the kiss and looked up at him to see if it worked. He
looked down at you and smiled picking you up bridal style “We’re going home” he
said to everyone and everyone cheered again as we walked out the door.
Shikamaru
kicked the door open since you hadn’t locked it when you left and walked to
your bedroom placing you on the bed before kissing you again but this time he

reached the edge of his pants. You looked up at him and saw that his face was
